When looking toward the future of business is not about prediction,but about preparing with clarity and awareness.
A space for exploring the future—without rushing to conclusions.
IFBL-EP.1 was designed as a shared space where participants could slow down their decision-makingand examine changes in the business landscape in a structured way,rather than searching for a single, definitive answer.
The workshop invited participants to collectively analyze multiple possible futures (scenarios)and connect those perspectives back to their own business contexts.
One of the key outcomes of the workshopwas the co-creation of four core future scenarios for Thailand,synthesized through group work and in-depth dialogue throughout the day.

1) Technology and AI as the Core Infrastructure of Competition
A business landscape where decision-making is driven by data, automation, and AI.
Opportunities and risks emerge simultaneously.
The critical question is not whether to use AI,but how to integrate it with human judgment.

2) Human and Well-being at the Center
People place greater value on quality of life, meaning, and relationships.
Businesses are expected to “care for people”rather than focus solely on short-term results.
Success is measured not only by profit,but also by impact on people and society.

3) Green Economy and Local Resilience
Sustainability, the environment, and communitybecome the core of business design.
Unlimited growth is increasingly questionedand replaced by a pursuit of long-term balance.

4) A World of Uncertainty and Fragility
Volatility becomes the “new normal.”
Many businesses face risks that are increasingly difficult to predict.
Resilience—the ability to recover and adapt—is as critical as growth.

What IFBL-EP.1 Invites Us to Reflect On
This workshop does not attempt to prescribewhich scenario should be chosen.
Instead, it invites participants to ask themselves:
• Where is our business most vulnerable?• In which scenarios might new opportunities be hidden?• Are we planning based on hope, or on realistic possibilities?
Many participants discovered thatwhile the future itself may remain unclear,the framework for thinking about the future became far clearer.

For Paa Namsai,this workshop was not a standalone event,but part of a broader effort to cultivate a well-being–oriented community,aligned with the philosophy of Paa Namsai.
It is an initiative to create a learning spacethat connects business, humanity, and the future.
IFBL-EP.1 may not have clarified every aspect of the future,but it helped participants move forwardwith direction, awareness, and wisdom.
